I liked this series, I liked the character developement, and the characters rang true. I was impressed by the lack of stereotypes of the brown and black people except the time the two men let the Black girl investigate a creepy dark place by herself(the strong black woman stereotype). I also liked how the story was developed. I would love to see a second season.

I feel like Something Good is a charming short. It was very interesting to see passionate natural affection in a 1898 film, when affection pictured in the films of those time were somewhat stiff and mannered. The fact that the couple was African American made it even more rare and enjoyable.
