This movie was amazing! Never was a fan of the original like that. But I loved that we get to a princes Eric’s side of things, and see a deeper look at Ariel’s pov. Also they wanted to do the things in this movie for the original but they scraped most of it so I love that we get to enjoy what would’ve been in the original! And Halle was obviously amazing!!

I’ve watched this entire show.... so many ppl bashed it And stopped watching episode 7-10... those episodes are important -spoiler alert- We see why the white lady is trying her best to get rid of them. They have what she doesn’t a nicer house, a family and a husband. So yes her backstory doesn’t matter but it adds to the other plot ppl thought could be avoided which was episode 9. The white man ended up taking everything from all black ppl that settled in that area Bc the black ppl had things her and other white folks couldn’t get. All in all YOU HAVE TO WATCH THE ENTIRE THING TO UNDERSTAND
