Masterpiece? It tries so hard to be an ‘intellectual’ post horror, but ends up being poorly paced, lazy, self-indulgent horse piddle. Has no one told this ‘genius’ director that depicting the disabled as sledgehammer-wielding mutant monsters ended with Jason Vorhees, and is entirely offensive. Nasty, sadistic and undergraduate.
