I'm honestly kind of surprised that anybody liked this. In the first movie, John was just a guy who used to be badass, even getting his ass handed to him by Theon fricken Greyjoy from Game of Thrones in one of the first scenes. In this, he's an absurd cartoon character who can't be hurt or killed no matter how many times he's shot or stabbed. Aside from John himself, nothing makes sense. There are absurd rules that some people follow until they decide they don't for some reason. The main baddie in this movie is some lady who we don't know, who sets up most of the assassins to kill John, but nobody kills her for some reason. I mean she makes phone calls to put contracts on people's head right in front of them and they do nothing. The first movie was an extreme version of some real, but plausible alternate universe. This movie is just nonsense to set up fight scenes that are WAAAAY worse than the first movie.
