The Shadow Network

I bought this on PS5 and it barely runs. I haven't felt sick playing a non-VR game and yet Chernobylite managed to actually make me vomit. The motionblur doesn't turn off when you toggle it, the framerate easily disappear below 20fps and the screen tearing is non-stop. I contacted both Sony and the Developers for a refund, and the developers admitted fault but said "We aim to fix it soon". The game has been out since October. I would highly recommend avoiding this game.

Pros: Looks gorgeous, good gameplay. Cons: Hollow characters. Needlessly bleak story. Unsatisfying plot. Game is only 10-15 hours long despite being sold as 25+. The devs lied about how long certain characters were in the game, going as far as to change character models in the trailers to subvert expectations. Disclaimer: I've completed the game and I wouldn't recommend paying full price for this. Without a compelling story, it's just a tech demo.

I know DooM is a run and gun game (which I love) but this instalment feels less like a step in the right direction and more like a Rage 2 mod. In the early hours it drops a lot of new things on you that, to be honest, you'll never use. Ammo is scarce, even on the lowest difficulties and even the weakest demons take 3 shotgun shots to the face at point blank range just to stagger. In my opinion (and I know many people don't agree but remember this is just an opinion) DooM was overhyped and the finished product is plain and boring.

This game broke me. I got it free with PS+ and honestly? I want my free back. It's broken, buggy and was (I suspect) developed by 20 chimps locked in a room with a dev kit. The boss fights *can* be fun, but the level design sucks, the controls are damn near unresponsive and the gameplay is ridiculous if you're going for the S rank. Some of the levels you can't even get the S rank without an XP Boost. Don't listen to the fanboys giving this game a 10/10. They'd defend a wasps nest if it was lodged in Sonics bum crease.
