My new favorite show! Very Interesting and entertaining. I enjoy the cast, they are all so different that only a couple are on the same line of work but they remain close due to their culture. After watching the show I found Indian Culture fascinating and I actually want to know more. Even though I am not Indian, I somehow found the show relatable. From my point of view some similarities with the Latino community are loving to throw big parties (quinceañeras, bautizos etc.) of course with all aunts, uncles, cousins compadres with Mariachi Banda Dj. And and on the weekends at the carne asada aunts hanging out literally to talk about their kids! Lol And like on the show, there’s always some parents that after seeing you with your significant other for a couple years the when are you getting married, and when are you going to have kids questions come up often from all family! (Not with as much persistence like Anishas Grandpa though lol) I enjoy seeing how they treat the older with so much respect, and how they love and include their grandparents, another similarity in my opinion. I seen comments pointing out they act childish but I don’t think they do. I mean they finished school, they have their degree and are sucessful in their careers the ones that are living home explain why they are still living home and they are all good reasons. I’m kind of in their same age group,26, and I know their is still certain stuff that I still don’t know how to do (for example a popular Latino dish) and I “run back to mom” and back in the day by my age she already knew how to do certain things. But I mean generations change, their successful in other aspects in life. Overall, LOVE the show, I hope there is a season 2! And Anisha is so weird and annoying !! 😄
