So me and some friends put this movie on because we felt like watching something stupid that we didn’t have to pay attention to, however, regrettably, we ended paying attention to this absolute abomination that someone had the courage to produce. It started off decent, and the second that the movie revealed the secret behind the misfortunes and mysterious directions given to by the tv, the movie was more than ruined. I don’t think anyone watching this film who comes across it at 1am in the horror section on netflix has any sort of interest in the truly stupid and absurd metaphoric expression of television and advertising literally taking over our lives. That being said, the fact that the producers and directors of this film even attempted to involve religion in this film to top their first message by referring to the book of revelations and christ in general is genuinely insulting to anyone who is even mildly religious. Also, when everyone in the room starts referring to the main antagonist as the killer tv you know something has gone terribly wrong at some point. Asides from all of the stupid metaphors attacking way too many topics, the movie plain and simple was just an actual ridiculous turn of events along with even more ridicoulous illogical behaviour by the characters topped off by what might have been the worst and most pathetic climax/ reveal of the antagonist I have ever had the misfortune of witnessing. Whoever created this piece of trash should be imprisoned.
