This movie is disgustingly ableist and offensive to autistic people. Its portrayal of dangerous restraints that have killed autistic people and its use of flashing lights and bright colors mean that many autistic people cannot even watch the movie, even though it's a story about them. Music is a story about neurodiverse people that was written by, produced by, told by, and made for a neurotypical audience. Maddie Ziegler's performance is straight-up mockery, and Sia's ableism becomes more and more obvious with every new fact I hear about the movie. DO NOT WATCH THIS MOVIE. Wish I could give it 0 stars.
