Captain Marvel felt like a prelude to Avengers End Game. If this movie was disconnected in the MCU it would not stand on its on like Blank Panther or Dr Strange. In the end it was a fun popcorn movie that tried to have a message but I don't go to movies for messages I go to get lost for a while. Go see this movie on face value and don't look that deep.
