The movie is interesting, but, leaves many questions. I understand that they are trying to give you every possible viewpoint from all involved, from the police officer perspective, to the parent, and even to the biracial child. Why is it that when the person is running away from the officer, they feel it is in their best interest to shoot? If they were fleeing away from the officer, why did he need to shoot them as they were fleeing from him? Why? They weren’t facing him or coming at him, they were fleeing from him. I just can’t wrap my head around how if someone is fleeing from you, trying to get away from you, you see them as a threat to you, and have to make the decision to shoot at their fleeing body. I think the film makers were also trying to play devils advocate when they kept calling it an “incident”. It really just upset me.
