Just finished watching the finale between Derrick & Claudia. Season 1 had me hooked but as the show progressed the winners seemed to start winning by their sobb stories instead of the food. Season 6 has really shown me where this show is going. So if you like watching favoritism, sobb story winners with mediocre talent or marketability winners then this is your show. For me I’m done & in search of a true cooking competition show. I had a lot of respect for Gordon Ramsey but if he promotes this as a true cooking competition then maybe he’s all about the money & ratings now instead of truly talented cooks. Season 6 shows clearly that Derrick should have won the Master Chef title. His imagination & technique were flawless. Claudia was good but came nowhere close to the elevated dishes Derrick put out.
