nothing like the books - I mean I had my standards low but this didn't even reach them. it completely ignored the spackle part of the story (except for a brief 1 minute fight scene). ignored other key features which needed to be mentioned. not only that but there is absolutely no character development whatsoever and the whole movie felt rushed. entires plots are thrown out the door and even manchees death became meaningless (unlike in the book where he died saving Todd in a more meaningful way because there was character development).
