A pure masterclass of cinema. The emotional performances of world-class actors, Spencer Breslin and Dakota Faning were Oscar worthy, they were, without a shadow of a doubt snubbed at the 76th anniversary of the show. That scene where kick the cat out of the house? Chills. Mike Meyers is the greatest actor of all time, only topped by Tommy Wiseau and Nicholas Cage. When he was kicked out, I wept like a baby in the cinema. Some might call this movie low brow, but fail to see the incredibly sophisticated and subversive humor, such as the bull fighting scene or the scene where he beat up an elephant while sagging his pants, or making a child drive his automobile. It just made me wish that I had some wine by my side as I enjoyed this gorgeous piece of cinema.
