K-12 was gorgeously crafted!
Kudos to the Costume designers, Set designers, Actors, Producers, Melanie, and everyone involved.
On the Movie:
The plot was easy to figure out for me. Don't get me wrong, I had many questions. By the end, I had realized how all the pieces fit together. In order for this movie to work... just let it do its thing and patiently watch!
I think the plot made sense for me because I made my own idea of what the story was referring to. Or, just keep the questions out of your head and focus on the Music. It's enjoyable either way.
Melanie and everyone involved did a fantastic job in every department. The actors were amazing; they were in every sense professional — her film written to fit with the music as well as provide an outer plot. The dialogue could be more, sure...maybe a bit more focus on the other characters because everything/everyone is exciting & intriguing, but you get what you get. Music is the focus. It wasn’t hard to pay attention to the music and the plot outside of her lyrics.
On the pop-up songs such as Show & Tell and High School Sweethearts, all the lyrics didn’t have to fit in perfectly. The idea was enough. Her songs were filled with effort.
I’m not a fan of continuous cursing…which some songs have...but it made it beautifully bittersweet.
I hope she continues making more films centered around her music. Maybe even a Part Two of K-12 would be spectacular. I want more; I really would love to see if Crybaby went with her friends or stayed with Ben.

Not related to the movie itself > Just basic babble about people & reviews:
Everyone has a right to an opinion. I just wanted to put in mine as well, weighing out the scale of others saying the plot was weak.
I had to scroll down a little till I saw two reviews I agreed the most with. Claire Dixon and Smiley Emoji. Go and find them!!! Also, Amelie Lewis’s review stated something significant related to creating your own idea of the film. (They're the people who inspired me to write a review.)
