There's no doubt The Mandalorian is expertly crafted and beautifully made. What seems, at first, to conjure such depth and expectation deteriorates into episodic problems with frustratingly convenient solutions.
"Mando" aimlessly pinballs around the Galaxy getting into pointless situations. It's difficult to feel for a character who has no facial expressions or personality. It's impossible to become invested in someone who's problems are solved immediately by a chance encounter with just-the-right person - time and time again. It's boring.
Doubtlessly, people will be dazzled by the beautiful scenery and expertly choreographed battle sequences with a finely tuned soundtrack. The Mandalorian is wonderfully polished but it's also utterly devoid of any depth in the characters or storyline.
