So my other half has had me endure hours of this show. For me I find it annoying and completely unfunny. If its not for the continuous use of word "legendary" but in an exaggerated way or "Challenge Accepted" over and over again then its in overly dramatic scenes when the characters make somthing thats not that bad into somthing thats completely upsetting to them and then in Later episodes when Marshall and Lily have a baby, they have a "good night song". Which they have to use different instruments and put all that effort in to get a child to go to sleep. Which for me isnt funny or realistic if anything its meant to be a joke thats just played out for far to long and its just annoying. I thought to myself. Maybe its just me. I'm british. Maybe I dont understand American comedy. Then I thought well no I've seen lots of other American Comedies that I found so funny I've nearly pissed myself with laughter but How I met your Mother just had me sit there with an blank look on my face and the feeling of loss of brain cells while watching it.
