Beautiful film, aside from it's fantastic soundtrack and cinematography, Ben Stiller does a stellar job at portraying Walter Mitty, a man who discovers the value of life and living it to the fullest. A wonderful message on facing your fears instead of being complacent of where you currently are.

Honestly really liked the movie, a lot of critics hated on it, but it's a Christmas themed Horror movie based on The Grinch, not sure what they expected. It's very campy, but executes what it wants to accomplish, there is some awkward acting, but for the most part it's a fun movie to watch during the Holidays with a friend. Has a cohesive story, some well written puns, and I enjoyed the Dr. Seuss references. Some of the editing around the hand to hand fight scenes were a little messy, but for the most part I was able to track what was going on.

She basically cheats on her loyal partner who has literally done nothing wrong and she's made out to be the hero? This movie enforces the sexist stereotype that when men cheat, it's bad, when women cheat, it's okay. This movie could have been more interesting if she had toiled over the idea that she was falling in love with another man while engaged, or if it was about the moral dilemma she was in. But, nope. She cheats on her fiance and leaves him at the altar, and it's okay cause she's a women in love.

This movie is okay, I enjoy some of the call backs to early scooby doo, however as a mystery it fails. You have Daphne who the writers treat as a weirdo because they don't know what to do with her character, and Velma who is constantly denying the existence of magic as she has in the last 3 Scooby Doo movies. As a mystery, it fails to set up clues that lead to the ending and inserts all the evidence at the end, Velma explains everything without it properly being introduced throughout the movie. It's not the worst Scooby Doo movie out there, but Scooby Doo has done better.

Honestly better than I thought it would be, Mike Myers is a very zany actor playing a zany character, so he fits very well in this role. We hear his Scottish accent in this movie, so if you like his work as Shrek, you'll get a treat here. I was actually surprised by the ending.

This movie was made in 1988, coming into the movie I expected it to be low quality, which is was in terms of visuals (which is to be obvious). The Reluctant Werewolf was still fun to watch, it actually aged decently well for what it was. It's a fun Scooby Doo movie with a wacky story and cartoon antics. As an adult, I was able to watch it and appreciate it for what it is, and I even found myself enjoying it at times. This is a classic, so if you and a friend wanna watch a good old movie, I'd recommend this. If you're looking for something for your child to watch, there are better movies and tv shows from the 2000s that have better animation and brighter art styles. Something to be noted it that this movie is really drags towards the racing part of the film, the monster race is roughly 38 minutes long! While the movie is kind of long for a Scooby Doo movie, it is still pretty good if you can appreciate a classic.

I recently decided to rewatch all of the older Scooby Doo movies after being reminded of them from a podcast. The classic Zombie Island movie was fantastic, its animation, art design, voice acting, sound tract, defined the original movie and made me, someone who hasn't watched those movies in roughly 15 years want to rewatch them. This sequel was awful, when I decided to watch it, I was expecting the movie to build off the original, but all it does is take the concept and twist it into something else entirely. The plot was subpar, and the characters were degraded into idiots. Shaggy was the worst, for the first half of the movie, he forced the entire gang to not solve mysteries, which results in them walking into a scenario that is painfully similar to what happened in the first movie. This film also treats the gang as teenagers, which they are not. This movie retcons their age, making them a lot younger, in the original, they are older and have their own careers until they decide to bring the gang back together. The soundtrack was out of place don't expect anything close to Terror Time, and the voice actors for Shaggy and Velma were just out of place, Fred, Daphne, and Scooby were good though. The character designs were actually good, I liked how they were modern but were based off the old design. This whole movie was just silly, even if it was made for kids, I hate it when companies make mindless movies for kids. The original movie was made for kids, but good enough that an adult can still enjoy it, this movie was just frustrating to watch. If you have a kid, just watch the original movies, they aged very well and are much better than this.

This film was absolutely brilliant. I've always heard for the concept of Benjamin Button and reverse aging, but seeing it done in a well directed film with top tier actors is mind blowing. This movie had me tearing up few times, seeing Benjamin grow younger, living his life to the fullest, despite his circumstances. The idea of reverse aging is what attracts you to this film, but that isn't what makes it great, the story and portrayal of these characters is what makes this film as fantastic as it is.

Fantastic movie, Sonic has been declining over the past few decades, but this movie if the spark the Sonic franchise needs to get another jump. The film itself was well directed, solid plot, and an excellent cast. Jim Carrey as Dr. Robotnik was brilliant, and James Marsden does surprisingly well. Finally, Sonic has a leg up on Mario in movies.
