Very disappointed. I'm a huge Gilmour fan but I think this is just a collection of chilled, mediocre tunes with Polly's disjointed word salad soundbite lyrics. The last track, Luck and Strange original barn jam sent me to sleep.
David is at his best with his soaring improvisions and I get it that he wants to tread new paths but this failed the goose pimples test I'm afraid.

Not Scorsese's best. Far too long [never thought I would ever say that about a Scorsese movie] and De Niro acts as he always does in that wooden way with the signature long faced smirk. The make up at times looked like a Harry Enfield sketch. Very disappointing on so many levels. Definitely lesser than the sum of its gargantuan parts.
