Anybody else feel that a line was crossed with this show "A Tale Dark and Grimm" ? It's rated for 7+ kids. My question is WHY???
Come on Netflix!
1. Opening scene: Father beheads Hansel and Gretel then sews them back on. Even if it was not bloody, and the music is cheerful is that appropriate for 7 year old children???
2. Next, The Baker, who is admittedly a cannibal who eats children falls to her death and is impaled on a candy cane after waving a meat clever at Hansel and Gretel. --- They actually show her limp dead body on the candy cane -- but I guess its okay because its cartoonishly adorable???
3. Gretel, loses a key made of bone to open a door, but instead of finding the key, decides to cut off her own finger??? --- When has that EVER BEEN APPROPRIATE???
Talk about a predator in sheeps clothing!
