I don't know much about alchemy, history and mythology, but I'm always interested. When it's combined with thriller/horror elements, I'm definitely roped in! I'm not good at criticism, but I can tell that the plot was fascinating. So are the character development - sure, some parts are a little cringey and some are hinted to be left to the imagination (plot holes, etc), but I enjoyed the direction it took.
