Overall, the story in Somerville is good, with a strong start, well-executed building-up, and proper camera placement and movement. The climax is also well done, although some elements could have been improved. However, these shortcomings didn't ruin the experience for me personally. In terms of gameplay, the controls work well and are easy to understand. However, I noticed that the game was heavily inspired by Inside, with some puzzles having a similar structure, but it also comes with its own interesting and clever puzzles. The visuals in Somerville are stunning, with the use of colors being particularly impressive in telling the story. Each frame feels like a painting, and the unique style creates a captivating atmosphere. In conclusion, Somerville is a very unique game that offers a good story and great visuals. If you enjoy experiencing a well-crafted story accompanied by beautiful visuals, this game is definitely worth checking out.
