This film is one of the most underrated films. Be it the type of narration or the screenplay, it has a quirky approach, but a simple story line backing the whole treatment. I was amazed by the story knots which was extremely simple yet had the power to proceed as a story. Based out of the backwaters of Kuttanad, this story captures the lifestyle there. Be it walking in shallow backwaters to using boat as the primary means of transport, to the demography based attitudes of the characters, it gives a very realistic view of that region. The plot is simple and would urge people who love screenplays and realistic portrayals not to miss this movie. The Cinematography tones used is fabulous to say the least. Kootti Muttiya song by Vidyasagar sir is one of his bests. The angles shot for this song has an exotic treatment
