All the controversy aside, the movie was lacking. The acting, even SLJ, was crappy. They took some major characters & just distorted them beyond recognition. They plot was weak and felt forced. The pacing of them film grinded to a halt at times.
Just seems like a lazily slapped together hodgepodge, vaguely reminiscent of the source material.
