I was hoping to see some alternate reality, quantum mechanics themes when I got the DVDs. Got through the first DVD, onto the second DVD of season 1. This series is a boring, exploitative, misogynistic, mind-numbingly violent sh!tfest with absolutely no real plot, character development, or soul. How many shootings, stabbings, rapey sex and gratuitous nudity can they pack in one series? This series really hates women. Really, REALLY hates women. Considering a woman helps direct and write, it is a good study on internalized misogyny. Beyond the violence and sexism, it is just plain boring. The same scenes over and over and over in case your audience is brain dead. I fell asleep several times trying to watch this sh!tshow until I finally gave up near the beginning of the second DVD. If I could give it a negative 5 stars I would.
