Okay, so I read “After” on wattpad only, and I really, really liked it. When I heard the movie was about to come out, I got so excited & happy. I didn’t expect the movie to be the same as the books, but I didint know there were going to be so many differences. So I’m gonna be honest and tell you, before seeing the movie, i did read some reviews and stuff, and seeing people saying “the movie was rushed” , “oh Hardin’s not the same” etc , Had me ready to cancel my plans and not go see it, literally. But still I made up my mind and wanted to see for myself. At first when I watched it, all the reviews, the negative thoughts went through my head, and I wasn’t able to enjoy the movie. When I went the second time, I realized that I liked it better, it was those little changes that made the movie beautiful in its own way, even if it was an adaptation. So listen, if you want to go see the movie, go see it, atleast give it a try, bc if in someone’s eyes it looked bad, maybe in your eyes it will look good. So yeah, do what you want. I myself went to see it, and I didn’t regret it one bit ( srry about spelling mistakes, english is not my first language)
