Aladdin is one of my more favourite Disney classics and with some of the live action re creations in recent years I didn't have high hopes. However...... Aladdin didn't disappoint me at all, Will Smith's wonderful part as the Genie took nothing away from what Robin Williams did as the same character, Smith put his own twist that we all know and love into the Genie, making it funny and giving you an easy excuse to watch again and again. Other casting choices in Mena Massoud as Aladdin, Naomi Scott as Jasmine and Marwan Kenzari as Jafar made this re creation totally enjoyable, personal opinion ...there are certain bits I'd have liked to have seen more of but on the whole it holds it's own against the original and an absolute must see.
