The show is informative and interesting, but, what's with the bad English ? I watched the show for the first time tonight, and the host Thomas Roberts mispronounced 3 words in 2 minutes, including the name of the show ! He said "the Delly ", which should be pronounced Day ly. Then he says "daversity", which is actually pronounced "Di" as in die versity. So many hosts on tv and radio are speaking just bad English[ and most of them are supposed to be "well educated". Here are a few other words which they say incorrectly: Mobile {moble} Mo bile, rhymes with Mile. Immune {amune} Im mune, as in im possible. Process {praw cess} Pro is a prefix, and does not change with different words, otherwise you would sound very stupid if you were to say "Prawtect" or "Prawgram", Well, that's how you sound when you say things like "Praw gress". Here's one more for those who will never be a real professional if they keep speaking incorrectly: "There are number of blah blah blah". Correction "There is a number of blah blah blah". And the most disappointing thing is that, it seems like no one there in the Production or Editing of these programs knows any better. What a shame on the industry. Here is just some of the shows in which they speak bad English: CBS news, Abc news, NBC news, FOXnews is one of the worst. CNN, MSNBC, ACCESS Hollywood, The VIEW, Extra TV. And the funny thing is, once in awhile when donald dump would mispronounce a name or word incorrectly, they jumped on it ! Don't be hypocrites, just make the corrections and not excuses. Stay safe, and look after the other person... it just might be you. Jan. 23rd, 2021 AR.
