As a diehard Kanye fan, and old-drake fanatic, I won't bash this album aside entirely as much as others had; I love Champagne poetry, and You Only Live Twice alongside numerous other songs from the album. The album wasn't what I initially expected, and only fueled the rate of repetitiveness Drake has had over a couple of his previous albums as well. Drake's old songs are more goated than his new ones will ever be, and this is because Drake had most of his songs with most distinctive, lively rhythms (if that makes sense).

I personally loved the majority of songs in this album as compared to his previous albums. I can see why WLR dropped in ratings compared to his previous albums due to it being definitely a turn in another direction, one where no one anticipated it nor wanted from the start. The beats, flows and vocals definitely made it stand out, and made it unique in a good way
