House of secrets : The Burari deaths... (Few spoilers ahead..) It is a disturbing, horrifying and emotional series as it contains all the facts from photos to videos related to the case.. Been few days since I watched and there is only one question stuck in my mind - 'Why?'... I was left numb, confused ,angry, scared, terrified and even cried. Total of 3 episodes ..it was spine chilling and shook me from inside. I'm not a fan of horror and this isn't horror it's more than that..it's the horror which is inside our minds, which when not treated becomes a curse for oneself and others. Mental health should always be given equal importance as physical health. I just couldn't fathom the fact, how can an entire family do this to themselves.. In one of the episodes, it's mentioned 'there is a thin line between faith and delusion' and its so true..wish the family could make out this difference. Back in 2018, I came to know about this incident but didn't follow much and it was totally erased from my mind. So when I started watching, it was almost like a forgotten memory , hence it was even more scarier to witness the details. The series is so well documented, each and every detail, the direction, the narration, the pace of every episode ,the music, the interviews from the neighbours, family, police, doctors to the news anchors everything kept me glued to the screen. A happy, generous and helpful family of 11 members lived in that neighbourhood and not a single person knew what was happening inside the house. It has left a deep impact on my mind, the reason why I avoid watching horror..it stays in my head for weeks 😬. Please only watch if you like this genre and don't get affected easily.
