It was totally enthralling. The performances were perfect. The filmmaking was Oscar level, the direction made the 3 1/2 hours flow easily, no dragging in the flow of the story. The history wove into the interplay of the characters perfectly. Deniro was fantastic, a moving, cold, complex performance. Pacino knocked it out of the park.
