An embarrassing insult to the legacy of both Star Trak and the character of Jean-Luc Picard. Alex Kurtzman and everyone else involved with the production of this show have yet again demonstrated nothing short of utter incompetence in making programming worthy of the title "Star Trek". How this show has as many positive reviews as it does is completely baffling, and says something about the intelligence of the average viewer.
