The people who are trashing this series don’t understand it. This series is from a universe of another tv series where zombies didn’t exist before they existed. There’s a whole episode based on a group of strangers trying to establish what’s happening, what these things want and how they come about and how to kill them. That already tells the viewer that this is set in a world where zombie movies don’t exist. The army isn’t portrayed as the bad guys, only the two guys who happen to be in the army and try to take one of the main characters at the very beginning so they can steal money from him, then try to kill him later on. This series is purely a short web series on a group of survivors and us as viewers simply viewing their experiences. There’s no walking dead 15 minute scenes going over how someone they lost and thought died survived and returned to the group. They simply move on and go with the journey. It’s genius really & I throughly enjoyed it. It portrays the reality of humans in dire situations without all the heroics, drama and complications that any other zombie movie/tv series has, no finding a cure or safe heaven. Just simple survival. Very different and very well done.
