There's not a lot to work toward long term and I find Sims lack individuality.
In truth, there are some great aspects to this game like Creating Sims and Building. However, there are a lot of wonderful features missing in this game that were present in The Sims 2 and/or The Sims 3. I think a lot of it has to do with a disconnect between EA/Maxis and their customers.
