A Novel set in modern India, while setting it on fire!

Though I was indeed prejudiced against reading a novel set in 19th century penned by a 21st century novelist, I must admit that I was mistaken. The author knows about the modern world as well as the Victorian age, as a result she precisely knows what will be expected of her. The outcome is a wonderful heartwarming story set in Victorian age, threaded to the modern world, fit for the 21st century. A true page-turner.
