Completely derailed and destroyed the legacy of the established saga/characters in order to present absolutely nothing new. The prequels may not have had the best script but they were still Star Wars at its core, and only expanded upon the original’s foundation. This trilogy has completely failed to encapsulate the essence of what makes Star Wars what it is, while derailing the overarching story and introducing bland characters that achieve nothing but rehash what has already been accomplished by the previous focus. Disney’s fantasy continuation of the main series is a poorly written fan fiction at best and a money grab at its worst. Adam Driver’s acting and the visuals of this movie are its only saving grace. Save your money.
