Kayda Dragonborn

Animation was great but some of the characters were pretty hard to read and the main villian didn't really seem as menacing as she should have. Nimona's character aspect was a perfect representation of a chaotic neutral character. The storyline was great up until the bar scene where the main guy completely ignored the fact that the woman literally said in front of him that she set him up and then just completely forgot about it and turned on Nimona. Also nimona was looking like the blonde guy in that scenario so the real guy would know full well that it wasn't him and the main guy knew that too so why did he turn on nimona. Also the pg rating was too low. Should have been at least pg13. The suicide attempt is not ok for a pg rated movie Coming from somebody from the lgbtq+ community, I believe the thing with the two guys seemed kind of shallow. There is no lead up hardly to their romance. It felt like a forced enemies to lovers story. If you are going to have any kind of relationship in a movie, either LGBT or straight, at least make it where there is actual romance between the characters.

I don't know what it is with this movie but it seemed really dry after the first half of the movie. The long dialogues, the lack of good jokes, the depressing tone, and surprisingly the lack of background music. Even the plot was boring. I'm no critic but I feel like this movie was made to ride off of the profits of the other thor movies. Heck, the best part was the Chris Hemsworth naked scene and even it was pretty boring. Now the positive side of this movie was the really good acting that Christian Bale did. He really sold his character the best out of all the cast. Also the special effects were really on point and the only problem i had with them was how formless the shadow monsters were. They really lost the fear impact since you never got a good look at them.
