-a documentary of the past, not THE past, but a past that never was- Definitely a movie that most (read following) people should watch! When people ask for a scary movie, I have mixed feelings about pointing them to Threads. On one hand this movie definitely can scar someone if they are not in a good mental place at the time of viewing. However, it is a magnitude of order more scary than any supernatural horror film or zombie film or even documentaries on real events. This is due to the fact that this movie is ad documentary of the past, not THE past, but a past that never was, and remains the opportunity to become a documentary of the future is what makes this so nausea inducing.
