Honestly,at first, I was reluctant to give it a shot because I was not looking forward to waste time on "just another young adult movie".
However, I'm glad I did. This movie proves to be an imperative reality check driven by fabulous screenplay, direction, pace and score.
The team has done a fantastic job with in portraying the loneliness, emptiness and cravings of the characters without slipping into exaggeration.
I specifically appreciated the fact that despite our protagonists' attempts to adhere to their moral compass, they occasionally fell pray to cognitive errors and made mistakes. But soon enough, owned them and made amends.
I hope for us to be able to do the same.
Last but not the least:
Adarsh - Fantastic job. Your disapproving gaze was pierced right through the screen. Neil's anger and frustration seemed so genuine.
Ananya - I am really happy to see the justice you brought to Ahana. You brought the glue that held the group not just together but also the enabler that led to their growth, to life. Your performance was genuine and carved a place in our hearts.
Siddharth - I was awed to see how you portrayed the dispar Imaad was hiding behind his jokes and smile. Kudos, man!
