Since it is based on a true story, I found the movie very interesting and enjoyed watching it knowing it was based on a true story. however, I felt that the other characters in the movie as well as Yossi himself were not given enough depth to understand their personalities. For instance, Kevin surprised me that he did not give up looking for Yossi. It was not apparent that this would be the case. This photographer guy who at points in the movie was strong willed was not consistent with how he was portrayed. We know he grew up near a river, but he seemed to have skills that go beyond that. I felt like if I didn’t know it was a true story, i may have been a little disappointed from the movie. Overall though, I think it’s worth seeing.
