the show is about taking life saving decisions in a collaborative manner with the residents learning from the experienced surgeon and contributing to the challenges that come up during surgery...but importantly it is also about human nature with diametrically opposite personalities interacting, competing, and still being there when push comes to shove...and succeeding as a surgeon despite autoism but continuing to face challenges in personal life. Great characters, super casting, excellent acting and chemistry between the cast.
