I want this show to be so much more than it is and had high hopes for a new fantasy based show to watch. However, like other budget shows or bad screen writing (not sure which, maybe both). There are a lot of assumptions made that are missed for those who are not familiar with the books and I can’t get passed most of the cliche fantasy tropes - from the fabricated sets or general lack of attention to detail. Give it a watch as there is nothing terribly exciting out there right now to see in this genre but don’t be surprised when you feel this is a formulaic parody of something you’ve seen before.
