By Dawn's Early Light is a great look into what Strategic Air Command (SAC) and a B-52 aircrew went through and could potentially face during those days of the Cold War. I was stationed at the base this was supposed to have taken place (the crew facilities and subsequent alert scramble at Fairchild AFB) so it was a bit more real to me. This was an excellent movie with a great cast and it entertains without any apologies for lack of quality or writing. The B-52 crew with Powers Booth and Rebecca De Mornay is filmed exquisitely and gives a first hand look at the layout of the crew areas of a B-52 bomber. I lost track of how many times I've seen this, and will see it again and again in the future.
