The characters are poorly written, and the events feel unrealistic. Given that they're in the US, the two characters clearly had a chance to call 911, and they knew that, yet they just sat in their car doing nothing, ignoring a simple and logical solution. The movie completely lost me at that moment. It feels like it was written by someone who has only seen one slasher film in their entire life and didn't understand what makes those movies effective. The lack of logic and depth made it impossible to feel invested, and the characters' choices simply didn't make sense within the plot's context.

The acting was wooden, particularly the portrayal of the protagonist, which often leaned toward overacting. While many fans seem eager to defend it by labeling the movie "campy," it's essential to note that a film can still maintain a level of tastefulness even with a campy vibe. Unfortunately, in this case, the balance wasn't quite achieved. The plot twist and revelation at the end were disappointingly executed. It felt as if the filmmakers were trying to inject a shocking element into the story, but the result was more of a jarring disconnect. For a plot twist to be effective, it needs to seamlessly integrate with the existing narrative, offering a fresh perspective rather than feeling forced.
