This has such bad reviews because people are stupid and don't understand what makes or breaks an avant-garde movie, lol. This movie is a MASTERPIECE, and literally the most epic movie I've ever seen. It felt like watching an opera (in a good way), which I'm pretty sure might have been intentional. Beautifully made, with beautiful acting, visuals, and story. I highly recommend it, but maybe not to any random person. No, it's not weird just to be weird, it's weird for a reason. People are saying that the music was boring but for me, I completely forgot it was a musical, even as the music kept on going. It's not ABOUT the music, what they're showcasing ISN'T the music--the music is almost just another way of talking. Warning: If you're just watching this movie because you liked Adam Driver in Star Wars, this movie isn't for you.
