when i looked up this game, it had a lower rating on steam and i was absolutely baffled. Sure, theres not much in terms of the gameplay aspect, but I think people forget just how powerful a story and visuals can be. Everything is treated as though it has to be revolutionary and something entirely new, but to me, i think just a good artistic vision is enough for me. The creator(s) of this game very obviously had inspirations and worked really hard to bring their vision to light and wanted to tell a story with it. I can really respect that. Not many people these days can see themselves actually working towards a project that they have in their minds. And overall, the art and aesthetic really appeals to me, though i have never really cared for incredible 4K graphics, i really just appreciate the mapping, design and colors. Not to mention the game's sound design and cues, the moments when it gets really quiet and narration plays? The horns? The moments when you're just walking or reading a note and all of the sudden you're just thrust into an intense situation? Yeah, I know its all been done before, but for some reason, this game makes it really work even more so than usual. I dont know man, just for those reasons, i really commend this game, sure its not a masterpiece, but its something that achieves what it was set out to to, to immerse a player and tell a story. and to me, thats all something like this really needs,, why did i write all this i need to go to bed lmaoooo
