Outstanding in every aspect, Ripley surpasses even the newest Apple-produced TV series. With superb acting, captivating plot development, and stunning cinematography, it's an international thriller filled with unbelievable tension and suspense. The story revolves around profoundly wealthy yet aimless young men, along with charming Italians like the strong-willed but dim-witted police inspector and a hustling young mafioso, set against the backdrop of 1960s Italy, rich in culture and art. Ripley follows young expats with inherited wealth navigating their indulgent lifestyles while beset by the scheming, evil NYC villain, Thomas Ripley.

So I watched this movie with my wife who won’t watch anything violent or “upsetting”, found a “comedy” and watched it with zero hexpectations (except I’ve always admired Kate Blanchett). I quickly realized that this is a really great movie. Who knew?! Engaging family in turmoil plot. Crisis strikes and Bernadette (Blanchett) works a miracle of genius, guts and adventure. Trust me this movie kills - mainly thanks to Blanchett’s brilliant performance.

Outstanding Film. By every measure this movie is exceptional. Not sure why the critics panned it cause…The acting is fantastic. The plot gripping. The costumes and set design are gorgeous. The sound track of great oldies is perfect. Chris Pine played a great part in his role as the first husband and head of his desert paradise city called Victory. Harry Stiles is excellent as the model young rising husband-star at the Victory Project. Florence Pugh did a masterful job as the disbelieving young beautiful brilliant wife. Olivia Wilde directed and wow! She delivers big time in this wonderful movie fantasy!!!

The Wrecking Crew film is simply outstanding! This documentary is at its best when the filmmaker - the fortunate son of one of the many outstanding studio session musicians who ran LA studio session work for many years - simply plays one after the other great song of the unbelievably great music the Crew brought to life. The countless hit songs by so many very well known artists were actually in large part the work of the Crew; some of the greatest musician-geniuses ever recorded but commonly never credited by name. It's crazy when you realize that so very many iconic hits by world-famous groups were actually the brilliant work of what came to be known as the Wrecking Crew. Simply amazing. Kudos to the filmmaker son who so wonderfully and importantly honored his after and the many other indelible if unknown music greats of the era.
