(READ THE MIDDLE PART IMPORTANT!) This book is amazing!, and the character development is nice!, and this book is mixed with a little romance plus action/fight/fantasy, but definitely heartbreaking at the same time.But, this book is kind of based off Mulan in sort of a way but has a twist!, In Mulan as she cuts her hair, that's what Maia does too!; but she tells her only last remaining brother her plan and how she plans on saving them, and the girl embarks on a mission to save her family and her life altogether, by sewing!; and here are some spoilers JUST a heads up! ;) ( She has Three brothers, the girls name is Maia, and her mother died; but two of her brothers die in a war :(; then her father is offered to be the king personal sewer ; but his health is bad and Maia's brother who returned from the war is weak; therefore it's her duty to accept this mission as a boy) EDIT: Okay!, so i wrote this review when i first read like a few pages of but be cautioned that this book is recommended for Highschoolers, tough there is A LOT OF ROMANCE, don't recommend for middle or elementary readers!.And Just a warning there are some descriptions of killing in this book! and other not so good stuff! ;) YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! And also a little heads up ( If you don't like Romance or like little of it, this book has a lot of it!, and it sort of starts in the middle and kind of stops in the middle) :/ and other stuff notable is that the romance in this book involves of ( K*****g and other stuff, so this book is recommended for mature audience! such as high school kids!, not recommended for middle schoolers! Have a Great time reading! and checkout the author's other books and P.S.T recommendation ( Six Crismon Cranes by the same author, amazing read!) ( Six crismon crane has little romance not a lot of it , but has lot of action)
