This book charms and delights. It took me back to my childhood where we ran free and observed the countryside, which I find now ingrained within me - a joy mostly denied to todays children.
I am grateful to Steve for his memories, - he does not avoid the realities of poaching and pest control - but it is a pleasure to read.
