I have yet to see the movie but having read some reviews and seen the trailer, it does appear that they missed not only on Joni and the Doors but also on some of the blues that went down there like Canned Heat and John Mayall who recorded "Blues from Laurel Canyon". Now that may be because it was just recorded there but nonetheless, if it was not mentioned that is a real oversight.
