It was a confusing mess. Unnessasary and overdone narration, sudden jumps in plot that do not connect, and I honestly only understood about 3 lines that came out of Downey's mouth. It's to bad, the Rex Harrison Dolittle was formative part of my youth, as far as movies. I would be ok never to see this one again.
